Easiest homemade ghosts for a yard decoration for under $2.00

Here's a quick idea for the easiest homemade ghosts for yard decoration that is very inexpensive...

‘Tis the season to decorate for Halloween! Here’s just a quick tip on a very inexpensive decoration that gives you a cute and easy homemade ghost for less than $2 bucks.

Here are the supplies that you need:

◦ An old white pillowcase (I just use one that I’ve already had so that way it gives me an excuse to buy a fresh one for my bed. I don’t buy a pillowcase just for Halloween decor, it gives you a reason to upgrade yours that you use:)

◦ A piece of black felt

◦ A wire trash can from the dollar tree

◦ A little bit of fishing line or twine

◦ Scissors

◦ A glue gun

OK, now you have all your supplies.

  1. I simply take the wire basket and put it in the pillowcase.

  2. Then from there, at the bottom of the pillowcase cut a few slits from the bottom up.

  3. Then simply cut out some ovals to make the shape for the eyes and the mouth.

  4. Use your hot glue gun to glue the ghost face on to the pillowcase.

  5. Then simply cut a hole in the top of the middle of the top of the ghost head and attach a bit of fishing line or twine so that you can hang it from a tree or your balcony or wherever you have a spot.

And there you have it. This is what the finished product will look like:

These homemade ghosts will only cost you $1.25 for the trashcan, $.29 for a piece of felt from Walmart and by using an old pillowcase that you already have you won’t need to add a pillowcase into the equation.  These ghosts for under two dollars apiece make a fun and cute big impact and will bring a fun bit of Halloween decor to your home. I might’ve been there and I might’ve done that.
