Lifehack: Put promotional sign-up dates in your phone

OK so we’ve all been there when we sign up for something for that low promo price, but that price has an introductory offer and will switch to a higher price and automatically charge your credit card once that trial period is over. Don’t fall victim to this. It’s so simple when you sign up for something whether it be an inexpensive workout app or a club membership of some sort, put the trial end date in your phone a few days before it is set to expire. Make sure you set an alert so that your phone reminds you more than once.

By doing this, you won’t accidentally forget to unsubscribe before you have already been charged.

It’s a simple life hack, but the key is to put the date in your phone as soon as you sign up. We’re all human, we all forget things. We may have the best intention to remember, but at the end of the day it’s better to be safe than sorry. Who wants to have credit card charges for something you really didn’t want or use. Trust me I might’ve been there and I do know that.
