The fastest fresh breakfast packed with protein and a cute little package

So typically, I don’t like buying little personalized appliances. I have found them to be more of a gimmick than a tool. Plus, I don’t like storing extra appliances that I don’t use often. Well, that one exception came in when I received this cute little single serve waffle maker at a Christmas gift exchange.

At first thought I wasn’t super thrilled as again I don’t like appliances that I don’t think I’m going to use often. When my friend saw that I received it, she let me know that it perfectly cooks one egg. I went home and tried it, and I was shocked to find she was correct and this was gonna be a game changer for my morning.

OK, so here is the quick little recipe that I make literally every morning for one of my daughters. I need her to have protein before school and this little device cooks it all up in two minutes. 

Here are the steps in photos : 

First plug it in and it heats up super fast. It’s not one of those things where you have to wait a while for. Typically, I plug it in then grab my ingredients and then it’s ready to go. 

I spray it with some cooking spray just so the egg doesn’t stick 

Then on top of that one egg, I add one slice of chopped up bacon, and then some cheese on top 

Then you just close the lid and let it sit cooking for almost 2 minutes. 

Then simply open it up and Walla, you have the egg cooked with some bacon in it and that cheese gets nice and crispy on top. 

It really is cut all the way through with the right amount of crisp .

I then put that little circle in this little ramekin and head to the car to eat on the go

And there you have it a great high protein breakfast that is super simple to make, very fast and fresh with very little mess and cleanup. This is something I can say I do use daily when it comes to getting a quick breakfast on the go! I might’ve been there and I haven’t done that.
