Three key items that have completely changed my quality of sleep for the better

Three key items that have completely changed my quality of sleep for the better are a good pair of ear plugs, a well fitting eye mask and a silky bonnet. I've had 4 kids and a husband who snores, I know sleep can be hard to find, so these are my essentials.

I can tell you with certainty that nothing can ruin your day more than a bad night sleep. We’ve all been there and well sometimes it’s hard to turn your mind off (if that’s what’s keeping you up), but if it’s other factors then these have been complete game changers for me in the area of sleep. Some things you just cannot control. Such as a snoring husband, animal sounds, teenagers being too loud when you’re trying to go to bed, whatever the situation that is yours, I’m here to help.

In my situation, whether my husband wants to admit it or not, he snores. I know there are couples that later on in their marriage sleep in separate rooms because of this. That wasn’t something that we were willing to do. So what was the solution as trying to tell him in the middle of the night multiple times to stop snoring, was not a solution. Enter earplugs.

OK, so the earplugs I know what you’re thinking because I thought the same thought. Earplugs are going to drive me nuts as I sleep on my side and I don’t want something that I’m going to feel in my ear. It took me a few pairs, but I found these on Amazon and they have been an absolute game changer .

Here is the link to buy yourself that quiet night sleep

These have been so good, that not only have I recommended them to friends. I have gifted them to people. Even if my husband is watching TV still in bed when I am ready to go to sleep I tell him good night. Eye mask on, and I am out.

OK, so that item number two is the eye mask. Now I do have kind of long eyelashes so I can’t do those flat eye masks kinda like they give you on an airplane. I needed that eye mask that is a bit elevated over the eyes so that it doesn’t annoy me.

That I you can find here:

When I put that combo of the earbuds and the eye mask on good night world, I am off to sleepy land. With the eye mask in the evening I do not see if someone down the hall has turned the light on. I do not see if Is still watching television, or I do not see that little glow of any little plugged in electrical device devices in our room. Is dark and my mind has been told to go to sleep.

So then what could possibly be item number three other than the obvious which would be a good pillow, it’s a bit more random than that and it is a satin bonnet. OK how 1940's does that sound but hear me out. This started with my young teenage daughter, who is totally what you would call the "Sephora kid". You know that phase right now when they’re all into skin care, hair care, and all the care much more than the moms that are paying for it. However, my daughter sleeps with a bonnet on and in the morning just the texture of her hair is so much different than before so I figured I would give it a try. So to this sexy routine comes the bonnet. I put it on and no joke when I wake up in the morning, my hair looks like I've spent some time with my Dyson. I simply give it a quick brush and I'm out the door. I am able to go quickly with no wild bed head. It’s all been tamed by the simple little bonnet.

Where to find one you can find yours here.

So while I know having these three items on isn’t the sexiest thing in the world, but waking up refreshed makes up for any amount of loss of sexiness while your sleeping. I don’t sit there with these things on until I literally I’m ready to close my eyes and say good night. I also store them under my pillow so I’ve got my little set up ready to go and I’m not looking for it all before I go to sleep. Easy peezy!

I reach my hand under the pillow pull out my bonnet eye, mask, and earplugs and peace out for the evening. I highly suggest you don’t knock it before you try it. It’s been a game changer for me. I might’ve been there and I do know that.
